First humand clonation
Scientists
from South Korea and North America have achieved by cloning human
embryos, extracting 16 Korean volunteers ovarian germ cells and
inserting them into eggs to them beforehand by the nucleus had been
removed and had been obtained from the same woman. Sacrificing human embryos these scientists have isolated stem cells. The work was led by cloning expert veterinarian Woo Suk Hwang, along with Shin Yong Moon of Seoul National University. These researchers have followed a similar procedure to that used to clone Dolly the sheep. The experiment was published dated February 13, 2004 in the journal Science.
The Science article provides a detailed description of how to create human embryos by cloning. Experts in this field of research and outside the present work is judged convincing.
However
in a recent article in the newspaper article, López Moratalla, a
prestigious expert on the subject he said that the experiment of Seoul
has not obtained a human clone; not even a cloned embryo. There are biological barriers to copy humans.
